Published - 21. Oct 2024
Cologne, October 21, 2024: Qvest, a leading global provider of media-oriented consulting and technology services, and its subsidiary HYVE are exploring innovation in a new event format. The first “The Secret Source of Innovation Summit” is dedicated to the current topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and focuses on the question of how companies can successfully innovate with the help of AI. High-profile speakers from companies such as Rewe, Siemens Digital, the Deutsche Fußball Bundesliga, Deutsche Telekom, Merck Group and Metro AG will be reporting from the field at the event location of Giesecke+Devrient GmbH in Munich on November 14 from 12 - 7 pm. They will provide insights into functionalities and report on strategies for integrating AI in various industries and business areas.

According to a recent study by HYVE and the University of Innsbruck, the use of AI for innovation management is expected to improve innovation performance by more than 50%. However, companies are struggling to find suitable approaches to realize the perceived potential. The biggest challenges that companies face when implementing AI are said to be access to sufficiently large data sets at the data level and a lack of technical expertise at the organizational level.

But how can companies leverage the potential and what can the successful implementation of AI in an innovation context look like in concrete terms? Germany's first networking event that focuses exclusively on innovation will get to the bottom of these questions:

In the premiere of the exclusive “The Secret Source of Innovation Summit”, digital experts will show how AI is deeply embedded in digital products in order to increase their performance. The aim is to show visitors how existing AI tools can be integrated into the innovation process and product development in order to realize innovative solutions faster and more efficiently.

The speakers will also use practical examples to report on how AI-driven development is also a transformation process that the organization must go through in order to realize the new opportunities in a value-creating and long-term manner. This remains important: The human factor.

The following experts will be speaking on the topics of applied, embedded and empowered AI:

  • Mathias Oppelt, VP Head of Customer driven Innovation, Siemens Digital

  • Dominik Scholler, VP Product Management & Innovation, DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga

  • Kai-Uwe Reimers, Head of Research & Innovation at REWE Digital GmbH

  • Dr. Volker Glaeser, CEO DISH Digital Solutions (Metro AG)

  • Tetiana Telenczak, Head of Data & AI Product in Healthcare R&D, Merck Group
