WCAG 2.2 - The Standard for Digital Accessibility

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define standard for digital accessibility. The newest version - WCAG 2.2 - released in October 2023, builds on previous versions to further improve inclusivity and adapts more to accessibility on mobile apps. In combination with the Guidance on Applying WCAG 2 to Non-Web Information and Communications Technologies (WCAG2ICT) we adapt WCAG in our audit process for other technological platforms.

The guidelines themselves divide the individual requirements into the following four groups:
