Here we have answered some initial questions about your application and your start with us.
All about your application
You have the opportunity to join us via an internship, a dual study programme, a traineeship or directly in a permanent position.
We advertise our vacancies as required. It is therefore worth checking our career page regularly and several times during the year for vacancies. We are also always happy to receive unsolicited applications, which we also store in our talent pools depending on the match. If necessary, we will then contact you for a suitable position. If you would like to apply for an apprenticeship or dual study programme, you can submit your application to us at the start of the new year for the year in which you would like to start your apprenticeship or dual study programme. Please send us your current certificate if you have not yet received your diploma.
Yes, some positions are advertised on an ongoing basis and we are always looking to fill them. If we are about to finalise the application process for the position, we still have the opportunity to see if we can offer you a similar vacancy (possibly also at one of our subsidiaries).
All about your application documents
Your application is complete with your personal data, your e-mail address, details of your earliest possible start date, and your salary expectations. Of course, you can also voluntarily send us your job references or certificates. If we need these or other documents to review your application, we will reach out to you.
You can upload documents in the following formats to our application portal: Word, PDF, PPT, jpg, gif, png. A file may not be larger than 10 MB. The entire upload should not be larger than 20 MB.
Once your documents have been sent digitally, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. Our talent acquisition team will review your documents and get back to you within ten days. If our job matches your profile in principle, we may get back to you with a few questions or invite you to an initial video interview via Microsoft Teams.
All about your application process
After you have submitted your documents to us digitally, we will get back to you with an invitation to an initial video interview via Microsoft Teams. In the second step, we will invite you to a personal interview at our premises so that you can also see where you would be working. Alternatively, the second interview will also take place via Microsoft Teams. Usually, we make a decision after the second interview and, ideally, present an offer to you. In some cases, there is a third interview where you either get to know the future team or clarify any unanswered questions.
The focus of the first interview is on the specialist/technical aspects, which means that your first interview will be with the relevant specialist department (either your potential line manager and/or a colleague from the team). In the second interview, a person from the Recruiting Team will be present in addition to the specialist department, as this interview is about cultural fit. We will also tell you what makes Qvest special and what we can offer you as an employer. Ideally, all open questions from both sides will be clarified during the interview. At the end of the process, we can optionally include a team get-to-know-you meeting.
You are welcome to dress as you feel comfortable, in order to avoid having to put on an act and to be relaxed during the interview. However, make sure you dress in a way that suits your position. If you are applying for a management position, for example, we recommend that you dress business casual.
We will get back to you within 2 - 10 days after an interview.
All about your time at Qvest
At Qvest, we have an informal culture. Across all areas and hierarchical levels, everyone is called by their first name. This means that you are welcome to address us by our first names during the application process.
We are delighted whenever our colleagues want to grow. We are happy to provide support for further studies and recognised training courses and certificates. If you see yourself in a management position, we also welcome this. Talk to your manager about this.
It is important to us that you feel comfortable, so you don't have to pretend and can come as you are. However, it is also important to us that you are well-groomed and appropriately dressed so that you can also get in contact with customers, for example.
Everything else you might want to know
Of course, you can apply again after your initial application has been rejected. Qvest works strongly with talent pools. This means that if we see a general fit with us, we always ask whether we can store your data in our talent pool in compliance with the DSGVO.
No. If you do not have the app installed on your device already, you can simply click on the MS Teams link to open a browser window and join the conversation from your web browser.
If you do not live in the vicinity of an office location and you have to travel a distance to reach us, we will cover the cost of a 2nd class train ticket or pay you a flat rate per kilometre, if you travel by car. If the journey is too far for one day, we will also be happy to cover the costs of accommodation if required.
If you are hired, we will store your data for the duration of your employment with us. If you are not hired, we have the option of adding your data to our talent pool. To do this, we will ask you whether you agree to your data being stored for one year. At the end of that year, we will ask you again whether we may continue to store your data. If you would like your data to be deleted, you can inform us at any time at jobs@career.qvest.com. Here, we always pay attention to DSGVO conformity.
We subsidise the company pension scheme by 20% and offer group accident insurance, which is also valid in private settings at any time.
