An internationally leading technology company has established an Experience Center in Munich. This impressive Experience Center is part of the company's Cloud Space, providing employees, partners, and customers with access to cutting-edge technologies and top-tier expertise. Interactive and immersive elements vividly showcase the diverse possibilities of cloud products, making them tangible. Tailored solutions can be developed, tested, and implemented here.

Qvest was responsible for technical and commercial consulting, project management, and the integration of state-of-the-art media technology. Eight Experience Centers are set to be established worldwide.

The Experience Center is the technology company's first facility of its kind. It features various stations in conference rooms and work areas, focusing on different areas and presented on digital signage displays. 

Each area can be individually customized to the specific needs and interests of the company's customers – creating a unique advisory environment. The installations showcase real-world applications of the latest technologies across various industries. These include healthcare, retail, supply chain, manufacturing, and financial services. Visitors can participate either on-site or virtually and discover how the cloud can address their business needs today and in the future. The centerpiece of the Experience Center is a cinema for client presentations, equipped with a six-meter-wide and two-meter-high LED wall, including a touch overlay.

High demands for flexibility and adherence to deadlines

The tasks of Qvest included technical and commercial consulting as well as technical design. Additionally, Qvest was responsible for the integration of all conference rooms, huddle rooms, meeting rooms, the demo alley, and the cinema. Project management had to adapt flexibly to changing requirements while adhering to a tight schedule Manufacturer changes were not allowed to cause delays. The project also faced technical challenges, such as integrating digital signage, Q-SYS, touch LED walls, touch screens, and AVoIP.

Qvest emphasized creating a consistently immersive user experience across the various spaces to effectively showcase our cloud solutions' capabilities.

High-level design as a strategic framework

To enable timely adjustments to changing requirements and challenges, Qvest relied on flexible project management and agile working methods. In close collaboration with external specialists, the team developed a high-level design that consistently met the demands for a cutting-edge and engaging Experience Center. 

State-of-the-art media technology

The integrated media technology meets the highest standards for digital communication and visualization. It includes high-resolution displays with multitouch functions, as well as input terminals with pre-programmed scenarios. Central media control is managed via touch panels. A specially developed, user-friendly control concept ensures clear visibility despite the extensive functions. 

The conference and huddle rooms, as well as the demo alley, are equipped with advanced technology for interactive presentations and demos. Hybrid conference and meeting rooms, developed by Qvest, support modern working methods and are optimized for both local and virtual use.

In the demo alley, integrated touch LED walls and large displays enable interactive presentations that vividly showcase the presented concepts. Design and equipment adjustments were made in real-time by the project team to meet the evolving needs of the client.

  • ETC: Control and lighting 
  • RPV: Substructure for LED wall and wall mounts for displays 
  • Shure: 8 microphones MXA920W-R 
  • Meyer Sound: Amplifiers, 3 speakers, subwoofers 
  • Crestron: 20 table connection panels 
  • Panasonic: 2 x 4K PTZ cameras 
  • Dittfach: Control desk

In the Cloud Space Experience Center, visitors are offered captivating interactive experiences, enabled by the integration of state-of-the-art media technology and a flexible Qvest project management. Customers can experience cloud solutions in real-world application scenarios up close-significantly enhancing their understanding and interest in the technologies. They gain valuable insights into how data can be utilized more effectively with cloud technologies and how transformative solutions can be developed.
